How this works: You choose Fa (the 4th scale degree). Do is a perfect fourth below (5 semitones). Then Re, Mi, Sol, La, Ti, and high Do fill in using equal-temperament major scale intervals (W-W-H-W-W-W-H). The result is a proper 8-note diatonic scale rooted in your chosen frequency — intervals from acoustics, not numerology.
