Scale Explorer

Set your own Fa frequency and hear a full Do–Re–Mi–Fa–Sol–La–Ti–Do scale built from it, compared to Puleo's Solfeggio and standard Western tuning.

Set Your Fa

Enter any Hz value for Fa. A full major scale (Do through high Do) is built around it using standard diatonic intervals.

Three Scales — Do to Do

Click any key to hear it. Your custom scale uses real diatonic intervals; Puleo's does not — his has no Ti or upper Do because only 6 tones were "discovered."

How this works: You choose Fa (the 4th scale degree). Do is a perfect fourth below (5 semitones). Then Re, Mi, Sol, La, Ti, and high Do fill in using equal-temperament major scale intervals (W-W-H-W-W-W-H). The result is a proper 8-note diatonic scale rooted in your chosen frequency — intervals from acoustics, not numerology.
